South Whitehall Township had its third annual tree lighting ceremony Dec. 2 at Covered Bridge Park, South Whitehall.
Hundreds of residents and visitors attended the ceremony which included vocalist Erin Kelly; Carly Simon with Parkland Community Library; Studio West Dance Center; and the Orefield Middle School Chorale.
The highlight of the evening was the arrival of Santa Claus, who arrived by way of Cetronia Truck 331, the township’s aerial truck.
The Jolly Ol’ Man in Red was whisked across Wehr Covered Bridge by Woodlawn Fire Company’s utility vehicle.
