Fullerton: St. John’s UCC plans Santa lunch
St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be hosting a lunch with Santa noon Dec. 10. The meal will be in Fox Hall.
There is a small admission fee per person. Admission includes time with Santa, crafts and a merry meal.
All proceeds benefit St. John’s youth ministries.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton Avenue and Pershing Boulevard, will be having its next all-you-can-eat breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 10 in the church social hall.
Come and fill up on all of your favorites of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, pancakes, cheesy Tater Tots, Danish, juice and coffee.
Children 3 years of age and under eat for free.

St. John’s United Church of Christ will also be sponsoring a live nativity 6-8 p.m. Dec. 16.
Reenactment times are 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The live nativity will be presented outdoors next to the educational wing of the church.
The Christmas story will be brought to life with narration, live characters, barn animals, carolers and more. In addition, guests are invited to linger after each performance to meet the animals or enjoy crafts and refreshments inside the church.
The nativity and activities are free for the whole family; however, donations will be accepted to benefit church ministries.
The event will be held rain, snow or clear weather.

Fullerton Fire Company, 851 Second St., will again have Operation Santa Dec. 17, departing 1 p.m.
Rain date is Dec. 23. Gift drop-off dates are as follows: 6-9 p.m. Dec. 7; 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 9; 6-9 p.m. Dec. 12; 6-9 p.m. Dec. 14; and 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 16.

St. Elizabeth’s has an Advent giving tree, which is an opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus by giving gifts of baby items to the babies who will be born this coming year. Please choose a gift tag from the tree in the vestibule, purchase the needed item and bring the unwrapped gift to the church by Dec. 17.
Donations will be given to Mary’s Shelter and Catholic Charities.
