Bath: Basket social set for Dec. 10
Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be having a basket social 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 10.
Food will be available for purchase, and there will be a bake sale and 50/50 drawing as well.

Governor Wolf Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas concert in the Wolf Academy on the society’s grounds, 6600 Jacksonville Road, 7 p.m. Dec. 10. There is a suggested donation.
The Celtic band Seasons - playing Celtic harp, hammered dulcimer, violin, mandolin, guitar, bodhran and penny whistle - will perform. Seating is limited.

For Borough of Bath residents only, there will be a Santa Run starting noon Dec. 16. There is a maximum of two gifts per child. A donation of $10 per home is requested. Make checks payable to Bath firefighters.
Gift drop-off is as follows: every Monday night at the firehouse 6:30-9 p.m., as well as Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and at borough hall Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The drop-off deadline is 6:30-9 p.m. Dec. 11. Please include your child’s name, age, contact number and address on the gift.

During the month of December, Emmanuel’s will help Bath Area Food Bank by collecting canned fruit, toilet paper and paper towels. Also appreciated will be canned yams/sweet potatoes and Stove Top stuffing. The food bank is no longer accepting tomato soup, Jell-O or pudding.
There is also a special need for feminine hygiene products, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and men’s size small Depends.
