Daniel P. Grim, 44, of Allentown, died Nov. 18, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Amanda K. (Biggs) Grim for 19 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Thomas and Ruth (Reitz) Grim of Whitehall.

He was a 1991 graduate of Whitehall High School where he was a track athlete. He attended Mansfield University and was a 1996 graduate of Bloomsburg University.

He worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, most recently as a Medicare billing specialist, and worked earlier for The Hartford.

He was a former member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.

He was a director of advancement for Boy Scout Troop 5.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Gavin; a brother, Andrew and his wife Stacy Grim and their children Madelyn and Braden of South Whitehall; a sister, Amy and her husband Donald Rice of Bethlehem; aunts; uncles; cousins; and extended family.
