Margaret Mary (LaPoint) Robert, 71, of Macungie, died Nov. 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife and best friend of 45 years to Maury Robert. Born in Honesdale, she was a daughter of the late Francis L. LaPoint and Margaret M. (Walsh) LaPoint.

Prior to retirement, she impacted hundreds of lives as a dedicated elementary school teacher.

She was a loving grandmother who especially enjoyed spending time with her grandsons in recent years, and her faith allowed her to face adversities with grace.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Michelle and her husband Benjamin Heller, and Renee and her husband Eric Cimo; grandsons, Joshua, John, Nicholas, Daniel and Timothy; brother, James LaPoint.

Contributions may be made in her honor to St. Thomas More Church, Allentown. Arrangements were made by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
