Jayne E. Siegfried, 72, of Macungie, Longswamp Township, died Nov. 22, 2017, at home. She was the wife of Donald C. Siegfried. They were married for 52 years in May. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lewis C. and Helen R. (Roesser) Ockenhouse.

She worked in various positions for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and Edelman’s Sporting Goods.

She was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, having served as deacon, elder and past president of church consistory.

She enjoyed gardening and was active with Brandywine Community Library.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Jennifer S. and her husband Michael R. Weidman, Jeannine A. and her husband Jeffrey Horinko; six grandchildren, Mary Beth, Patrick, Jonathan, Ethan, Jillian and Elizabeth.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the church or SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice c/o the funeral home.
