Thomas P. Kappes, 67, of North Catasauqua and formerly of Whitehall, died Nov. 12, 2017. He was the husband of the late Irene M. (Velas) Kappes.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Leo and Frances (Buesgen) Kappes.

He worked part-time in the food service department at Gross Towers. He worked in the inventory department at Air Products for many years and previously for Stanley Vidmar.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and his wife Val and Keith; and a granddaughter, Gia.
