Cecelia “Cele” Hutter Spesak, 102, formerly of Catasauqua, died Nov. 17, 2017. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Spesak.

Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Fiedler) Hutter.

She attended St. Mary’s parochial school and completed a commercial school program in 1931.

Starting in 1932, she worked as a nanny in New York City for many years. She worked at the former Western Electric for more than 29 years until she retired in 1978.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation BVM.

She is survived by two sons, Carl and his wife Barbara of Bethlehem and Steven and his wife Carolyn of Mertztown; two sisters, Rose Williams of Whitehall and Elsie Weaver of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Claire of Midlothian, Va.; Jason of Macungie, Steven of Long Beach, Calif., and Chad Muthard of Coplay.

She was predeceased by eight siblings, Emma, Joseph, Hilda, Raymond, Frederick, Angela, Frieda and Carl.
