Albert F. Fixl, 78, of Northampton, died Oct. 25, 2017, at home. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Koshuta) Fixl for 56 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna (Malitsch) Fixl.
He was a 1956 Northampton High School graduate.
He was in the National Guard.
He was a warehouse worker and truck driver for Roth Brothers, Whitaker Roof and Siding and Emory Distribution.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and was in the Holy Name Society.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Albert J.; a daughter, Lisa Fixl Singletary Richardson; three grandchildren, Joshua Fixl, Cassie Cheek and Jacob Singletary; two stepgrandsons, Joshua and Thomas and his wife Faith Richardson; a stepgreat-grandson, Tucker; a brother, Godfrey and his wife Joan Fixl; a sister, Rose Bet; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Stephen; and two sisters, Theresa Mondshein and Sister Mary Dolora (Anna) Fixl.
