Robert L. Ettl, 91, of Lower Macungie Township, died Oct. 30, 2017, at the St. Luke’s Hospice House of Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of the late Gloria M. (Fink) Ettl who died March 14, 2006. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Leonard and Florence (Bast) Ettl.

He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

He was a service manager for the former Daniel’s Cadillac, Allentown, retiring after 39 years.

He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown; VFW, Allentown and the Bethlehem Marine Corps League.

He is survived by children, Barry R. (Janice E.), of Allentown, Denise M. (Craig D.) Knauss, of Emmaus, Mary A. L., of Orefield, Jeffrey D. (Kimberly A.), of Germansville; sister, Doris Burkhart Kahle, of Spring City; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choosing.
