Students at Harry S Truman Elementary School will welcome families to a Thanksgiving dinner at the school Nov. 15. Lunch times by grade begin 10:30 a.m. and end 12:25 p.m. Reservations were due Nov. 13; perhaps there are cancellations for you to enjoy a meal prepared by the district’s new food service provider. There is a cost. Prepared food from an off site location is not permitted.

It’s teacher conference time! That means 1 p.m. dismissals Nov. 16, 17, 20 and 21 for HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School students.

Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m Nov. 17, 20 and 21 and Salisbury High School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. Nov. 17.

All Salisbury Township schools will dismiss early Nov. 22 as well, with HST and WSE dismissing 1 p.m. and SMS and SHS dismissing 12:15 p.m. All township schools will remain closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 23 through 27. Enjoy the time with family and friends.

Nov. 22 is a T-shirt day for HST students to show their Falcon pride.

Upon return to school, HST will hold its annual PTO holiday shop. Look for information to be sent home. This is a great chance to allow your student(s) to shop for friends and family. The holiday shop will be held Nov. 28 through Dec. 1 and students will have a scheduled shopping day and time.

SHS will hold its annual winter concert 7 p.m. Nov. 30.

The Franko Farm Yard Waste drop-off site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 25 and 28. We are approaching the end of the season for this facility.
