Schnecksville Playground Association is announcing a re-organization to its board of directors for 2018.
The executive board currently includes a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and webmaster.
Beginning in 2018, a marketing director and a volunteer/fundraising director will be added.
The five at-large board positions will be dissolved along with the position of webmaster.
Sports coordinators will remain as voting members of the board and will consist of a baseball, lacrosse and basketball coordinators and Neffs playground camp coordinator, for the camp at Neffs Playground during the summer.
Non-voting board member positions - assistant sports coordinators - designated by the sports coordinators and president will be added. In addition, there will also be a web assistant.
To become a part of this new board for 2018, come out 8 p.m. Nov. 16 for the annual Schnecksville Playground Association elections at the Schnecksville Fire Company pavilion.
The following positions are up for election:
·Executive
·President, one year term;
·Vice President, one year term;
·Treasurer, one year term;
·Secretary, one year term;
·Marketing Director, one year term; and
·Volunteer/Fundraising Coordinator, one year term.
Coordinator positions are selected by the executive board. Web assistant, baseball coordinator and non-voting assistant coordinators are needed.
