Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church youth group will be hosting a designer purse bingo Nov. 19. Doors will open noon, and bingo begins 1 p.m.
Purses include those by designers Kate Spade, Coach, Michael Kors and Vera Bradley.
Food will be available for purchase. In addition to bingo, there will also be a basket auction and a 50/50 drawing.
The church is located 4331 Main St., Whitehall.

Egypt Memorial Park’s Christmas party will be held 6-8 p.m. Dec. 8. This event is open to any park member with current paid yearly dues. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Each family is asked to bring a dessert to share.

Laurel Fire Company is selling lottery calendars. They are good for January, February and March, paying out on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s nightly daily number. You can purchase them at the firehouse during open hours.
