Catasauqua: Reception, pop-up shop set for gallery
Bridge Street Studio and Gallery, 123 Bridge St., is having its annual pop-up shop Nov. 17, 18 and 25. The gallery features local craftsmen with a unique array of gifts.
The Nov. 17 event is a wine and cheese reception starting 5 p.m. Hours for Nov. 18 and 25 are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The gallery is owned by Kimberly Brubaker.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will be holding a hearty breakfast 8-11 a.m. Nov. 18. Featured menu items include buttermilk and homemade pumpkin pancakes, sausage, juice and hot beverages.
A large variety of baked goods, including pies, cakes and smaller treats, will also be offered for sale.
This is a by-donation event and will benefit the pastor’s discretionary fund, which continues to touch many neighbors in need.
Come out and enjoy a great breakfast while supporting the community!

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be having its fall craft fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 18.

Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will be holding its breakfast 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 19. On the menu is eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, crepes, French toast, potatoes, soup, fruit cup and drinks. Eggs Benedict and omelets made to order are also on the menu.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale on women’s slacks, jeans and blouses Nov. 20-Dec. 2. Store hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
Donations of good, clean, used clothing are gratefully accepted during store hours.
Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
