Clarence W. “Bill” Hoffet, Jr., 67, of Emmaus, died Nov. 1, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clarence W. Sr. and Genevieve (Zaboy) Hoffert.

He was a graduate of Allentown Business School and Emmaus High School, Class of 1969.

He had worked at the Little Apple Market and was an office clerk for Merrill Lynch, both in Allentown. He was also a bartender and bar manager at different clubs in the area and at The Brass Rail.

He was a member of Citizen’s Fire Co. #2 and the Mercantile Club, both in Emmaus and Hogans Social Club, Allentown.

He is survived by siblings, Ruth Grohol and Carl.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A visitation will be held 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
