Community Fire Company No. 1, Schnecksville, had a fundraiser Oct. 14 in the pavilion to raise funds to help repair the roof over the building, which was severely damaged in a storm earlier this year. The roof over the dining hall is completely gone, awaiting the arrival of new roof trusses.
