Northampton: Tucker’s Toy Run set for Nov. 4
The seventh annual Tucker’s Toy Run will be held Nov. 4 at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 21st and Canal streets. This ride honors the life and memory of Tucker Stuart, who died in 2011 in a motorcycle accident.
Those planning to participate should arrive 11 a.m. The ride will begin noon. It will leave the parking lot at Tri-Boro and travel to St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, where gifts will be given to children in the pediatric unit as well as other children in the Lehigh Valley.
Rain date is Nov. 5.
The event will also include a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle.
Organizers of the toy run are seeking donations of new, unwrapped toys and items for animal rescue shelters. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., is holding an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner, bake sale and basket raffle 4-7 p.m. Nov. 11.
The meal includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, roll and butter, ice cream, soda, coffee and tea.
There is a cost. Children under age 5 eat for free.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 will hold a veteran appreciation night Nov. 11 at the post home, Main Street and Laubach Avenue. Doors open 7 p.m.
State Rep. Zach Mako, R-183rd, will be the guest speaker. He is currently serving in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
The event is open to the public. Complimentary draft beer, soda and food will be provided 7-9 p.m.
A New Year’s Eve party is planned for 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31.
There is a cost. Music, food and draft beer are included in the ticket price.
