Nevin A. Lilly Jr., 90, of East Allen Township, died Oct. 29, 2017, at ManorCare II, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Bernice V. (Walck) Lilly for 70 years.

Born in Seemsville, he was a son of the late Nevin A. Sr. and Estella R. A. (Stewart) Lilly.

He attended Northampton High School.

He was in the U.S. Navy and was aboard the USS Tuscon during World War II.

He was a carpenter and was last employed in the maintenance department of Muhlenberg College for 11-1/2 years before he retired in 1990.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville,

He was a life member of Allen Township Volunteer Fire Company and of Point Phillips Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Frederick of East Allen Township; a daughter, Sharlene and her husband Terrell Engle Sr. of Bowmanstown; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Harold J. Lilly.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by services 11 a.m., Nov. 2 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Northampton.
