Margaret M. (Laky) Semler, 82, of Northampton, died Oct. 21, 2017, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Semler.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Sr. and Mary (Stubits) Laky.

She worked for Aramark Food Services in Northampton High School’s cafeteria for more than 20 years. She was a cook for Northampton Liederkranz for many years.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton. She attended the Young at Heart group, formerly St. Andrew’s Parish, North Catasauqua.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna M. and her husband James Lokay and MaryAnn C. and her husband Michael Beichey, all of Northampton; two granddaughters, Allison and Meghan; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons, Edward Jr. and David; a sister, Mary; and five brothers, Steve, Frank, Robert, Alfred and John.
