Leslie M. “Les” Miller, 73, of Macungie, died Oct. 20, 2017. He was the husband of Bonnie Lou (Schmick) Miller. They were married for 52 years. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Mark U. and Beulah M. (Jones) Miller and stepson of Helen M. (Fox) Miller.

He worked as a custodian for East Penn School District for many years, retiring in 2010. Previously he worked for Lehigh Valley Dairy in ice cream cold storage.

He was an active member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.

He is survived by his wife; son, Michael L., of Emmaus; daughter, Michele L. and her husband Anthony Sciarra III, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Brendon Miller, Alecia Sciarra, Paige Sciarra and Aubrey Heiser-Miller; great-granddaughter, Riley Miller.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Nov. 3 in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown. Visitation 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
