JoAnne Bevins, 51, died Oct. 16, 2017, at home. She was the daughter of John R. Helriegel Jr., of Sciota, and Gail Horvath, of Breinigsville.

She was a graduate of Salisbury Senior High School, Salisbury Township.

She was a Pack #146 den mother for two years in Cub Scouts, something she really loved.

She served her country in the United States Air Force.

She is survived by her parents; three children, Jason Glassberg, of Long Island, N.Y., Crystal Bevins, of Breinigsville, and Michael Kurtz, of Allentown; two grandsons, Benjamin Glassberg and his newborn brother, Timothy, both of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Jodi Jones and Lisa Marsh, of Allentown; brother, John C. Helriegel, of Salisbury Township.

Contributions may be made to Horizon Church of Allentown.

A memorial service will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 2 at Horizon Church, 2613 South St., Allentown, 18104. A light lunch will follow the service in the basement of the church for all who attend the service.
