Hokendauqua: Faith Lutheran to hold Nov. 11 fall craft fair, quilt sale

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, is having its annual fall craft fair and quilt sale 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 11.

In addition to crafts and quilts, there will be homemade baked goods, a Chinese auction and refreshments.

The Air Products Chorus will be the entertainment at Woman’s Club of Whitehall’s Nov. 13 meeting, held 7 p.m. at Faith. Club members are reminded the food pantry items for this month are noodles and macaroni.

Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley’s wish list for women and children (girls and boys) are sweatpants/shirts, underwear and socks. The club is also collecting children’s books and metal can tabs.

Save the date on your calendar for the first-ever Lehigh Valley Vegan s’MAC DOWN, which will be held 2-5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Faith. This event will feature vegan macaroni and cheese recipes of 12 home and professional cooks from the Lehigh Valley. Several local restaurants will debut some of their favorite new vegan options.

The public is invited to sample and vote for their favorite, in conjunction with the votes of the Lehigh Valley’s finest “celebrity” judges.

The event will also feature vegan-friendly vendors, such as Vegan Treats, Randevoo Food Truck, Santoro’s Franks and Chili, No Whey Bakery and many more, that will be offering samples of drinks, snacks, treats and apparel.

A kids area will be sponsored by More Than Music LLC.

There is a cost to attend, and tickets are $4 cheaper in advance. Children 12 and under are free.
