Dolores M. Laser, 84, of Whitehall, died Oct. 29, 2017, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Albert M. Laser.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Roland P. Kidd and Hilda M. (Saul) Kidd.
She was a cafeteria monitor for Whitehall-Coplay School District for 30 years before she retired in 1997. Prior to that, she was an accountant for Altemos Oil and Heating, Allentown, for several years.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she volunteered for many years assisting with the church bulletins.
She was, earlier in life, a bowler with the Coplayettes at Coplay Saengerbund.
She assisted with Girl Scout Troop 954, Egypt.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela M. Hochstrasser of Whitehall; a sister, Karen K. Melber of Allentown; and a granddaughter, Kayla Hochstasser and her fiance Brandyn Bechtel of Northampton.
There will be a calling hour 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 10-11 a.m. Nov. 6, followed by a service 11 a.m. Nov. 6, all at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton. Interment will follow at Egypt Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice or to American Kidney Foundation, both c/o the funeral home.
