Our November basket social is here. Baskets will be on display at the library Nov. 4-18. Stop by the library and purchase your tickets. You could be a lucky winner!

The prize drawings will be held 4 p.m. Nov. 18, and any winner not in attendance will be called Nov. 20.

If you have any items you would like to donate for a basket, you can drop them off at the library during our open hours.

Reminder: Storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be 11 a.m. Nov. 2, 9 and 16. All ages are welcome, and no preregistration is necessary.

The library will be closed Nov. 7 for a staff development day.

We are partnering with Operation Gratitude for a letter-writing campaign to show support for our servicemen and women. Details are available at the library. If you have a serviceman or woman who would like letters, please let us know.

With Christmas just around the corner, Christmas cards can also be sent.

If you have photos of someone who has served in the military or is currently serving, we would love to display them in the library for Veterans Day. Stop in and see the photos already on display.

Free movie Saturday at the library will be Nov. 11. We will be showing “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” 11:30 a.m., followed by “Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them” (PG-13), starring Eddie Redmayne, 1 p.m.

Our final book sale of the year will be 11-4 p.m. Nov. 17-18. We have many fine books for sale that would make excellent Christmas presents for everyone on your list.

If you have any books or DVDs to donate, drop them off during library hours.

We will be closing 5 p.m. Nov. 22 for Thanksgiving Eve, and we will be closed Nov. 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen 10 a.m. Nov. 24.

Game night will be 5-7 p.m. Nov. 27. Our Scrabble experts could be tired from the long holiday weekend. This could be your chance to defeat them!

Visit us at the library Monday through Saturday. Our hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

We have movies, magazines and DVDs you may check out, or you can use one of our computers. All you need is a library card!
