Alfred E. “Mickey” Bachert Jr., 70, of Emmaus, died Oct. 12, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of Kristen (Fey) Bachert. They were married for 28 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Alfred E. Sr. and Catherine E.E. (Erie) Bachert.

He was employed at Onufer Aluminum Co. for over 35 years.

He was a member of St. Matthew’s E.C. Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; children, Kellie and her husband, Randy Kneedler, Theresa and her husband Steve Carroll, Jason and his wife Adrienne and Brian and Matthew; sisters, Kathleen Stephen and Linda; brothers, John E. Sr. and James C.; five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Best.
