William R. Kistler

William R. Kistler, 61, of Macungie, died Oct. 19, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Marjorie R. (Boehm) Kistler. They celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary last August. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clark D. and Violet R. (Haines) Kistler.

He was employed by Mack Trucks prior to owning and operating Bill’s Autobody, Macungie. He was last employed at Nestle Waters.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time both buying and selling at local flea markets. He cherished breakfast with his friends and, most importantly, restoring automobiles with his sons.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Douglas W. and his wife Natalie M., of Alburtis, and Michael W. and his fiancé Kaitlyn Bennicoff, of Macungie; parents-in-law, Donald W. and Ruth D. Boehm, of Emmaus; brothers-in-law, Donald W. and his wife Michele Boehm, and Jeffrey D. and his wife Tanya Boehm, all of Macungie; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne D. and her husband Kent Kemmerer, of Elgin, S.C., and Shelly and her husband Bill Fehnel, of Zionsville; nieces; nephews; and one great-niece.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25 in the Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. There will be a calling hour 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Contributions may be made to the Upper Milford Fire Company, 6341 Chestnut St., Zionsville 18092.
