Wilfred Boyer, 86, of Sellersville, was given a summary citation for harassment following an incident Sept. 1 at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown.
A 16-year-old, of Mertztown, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment following an incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 10:04 p.m. Sept. 27. The juvenile was referred to juvenile court.
An 8-year-old male was found with a flashlight containing a knife given to him by another 9-year-old student. The flashlight was found by his mother in his backpack.
A 13-year-old male, of Emmaus, was found with a blue pocket knife at Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave., 2:21 p.m. Sept. 29. The male was referred to a program for juveniles.
An unknown person removed a wallet containing credit cards and $23 cash from an unlocked vehicle in the 3100 block of Capital Street. The theft was reported 11 a.m. Sept. 27.
A resident in the 2400 block of Belmont Avenue reported 9:19 a.m. Sept. 30 the left of medication from an unlocked vehicle.
A temporary license plate was removed from a vehicle in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard. It was reported to police 5:06 p.m. Oct. 6.
A resident in the 1700 block of East Emmaus Avenue reported hearing a noise midnight Sept. 29. The resident later discovered the garage door open and a glass window removed and screen pried away at the home 4:25 a.m. Sept. 29. Nothing was reported missing.
An unknown person broke into a garage in the 2300 block of Cypress Avenue and removed an electric motor, several tools and a lathe. The theft was reported 3 p.m. Oct. 2.
A resident in the 3300 block of Berger Street reported an air conditioner at the home was removed and the house was ransacked with $4,000 cash taken. The burglary was reported 9:02 p.m. Oct. 13.
A resident in the 2300 block of Cypress Avenue reported personal belongings missing from the home 9:25 a.m. Oct. 17 after someone forced entry through a window of the home.
A manager at Bath and Body Works, 3300 Lehigh St., reported two Hispanic females and one male removed 10 candles and 13 body care products without paying for the merchandise 1 p.m. Sept. 29. The value of stolen merchandise is $432.50. Police are reviewing video footage.
An 11-year-old student at Salisbury Middle School removed two books from the book fair without paying for the items 3 p.m. Sept. 29.
A 20-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after allegedly removing a heart monitor valued at $995 from Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 11 a.m. Oct. 5.
A resident in the 1100 block of Bellair Drive reported the theft of two rings from the home valued at $4,950. The theft was reported 2:56 p.m. Oct. 5.
A $60 check was stolen from of a mailbox at a home near the intersection of West Emmaus Avenue and 33rd Street. The incident was reported 10:55 a.m. Oct. 6.
A resident in the1600 block of Sterner Lane reported the theft of $500 from the home 6:05 a.m. Oct. 11. There was no forced entry.
A resident in the 700 block of Flexer Avenue reported 11:30 a.m. Oct. 15 the theft of mums from the front porch.
A resident in the 800 block of Flexer Avenue reported 12:35 p.m. Oct. 15 the theft of mums from the front porch.
A resident in the 800 block of East Juniata Street reported 8:28 a.m. Oct. 17 the theft of two cat carriers from the front porch.
Security personnel at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest discovered vandalism to a vehicle in the lot 7:05 a.m. Sept. 30. The driver’s side rear window was shattered. The damage is valued at $250. Police are reviewing surveillance video.
A resident in the 2300 block of Cypress Avenue reported vandalism to the home 2:15 p.m. Oct. 11. There was damage to the steps and garage.
A resident in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue purchased a car on eBay and wired the seller $1,800. The resident heard nothing and was informed by eBay it was not a legitimate account. The incident was reported 11 a.m. Oct. 4.
Dennis Moyer, 52, of Allentown, was on a LANta bus at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St. 10:20 p.m. Oct. 6 and the bus driver could not wake him up. Police were able to wake him up at which time he was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. Moyer was issued a citation for alleged public drunkenness.
A resident in the 800 block of Flexer Avenue reported an unauthorized use of a credit card 4:19 p.m. Oct. 6. The out-of-state transactions, totaling 19, were valued at $384.17.
Police were called to an apartment in the 700 block of Weil Street 7:44 p.m. Oct. 6 for the report of an overdose. The person was not breathing when police arrived. Police administered Narcon and there was no response. An ambulance crew administered a second dose, the person responded to that dose and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Olga Suarez, 32, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1700 block of East Emmaus Avenue 2:09 a.m. Oct. 8. Suarez was taken to Central Booking for processing.
As a new tenant was cleaning a home in the 2900 block of South Pike Avenue 1:45 p.m. Oct. 9, the tenant was stuck with a syringe in a bag allegedly left by the previous owner. The resident went to the hospital for testing.
Tiffany Gerhart, 28, of Allentown, was charged with alleged unauthorized use of a motor vehicle 9 a.m. Oct. 9. Gerhart allegedly borrowed a truck and didn’t return it. Gerhart was found 12:37 a.m. Oct. 14 following a traffic stop. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.
A 17-year-old female, of Easton, was issued a citation for disorderly conduct 9:04 a.m. Oct. 13 following an incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest.
Police were called to a disturbance 6:25 p.m. Oct. 15 at Laubach Park, 1630 Lehigh Ave, between juveniles.
Police were called to Salisbury High School 12:29 p.m. Oct. 15 for a verbal argument between students.
Police were called to a disturbance at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 2:22 p.m. Oct. 16 as a sedated patient gave staff some problems.
A resident in the 700 block of South Muhlenberg Street reported an attempted burglary 7:26 p.m. Oct. 16. While watching television, the resident saw an elbow coming through the bedroom window. As the resident yelled, the person fled.
