Pearl V. Richards, 92, of Lake Wales, Fla., formerly of Lower Milford Township, died Oct. 12, 2017, in her home. She was the wife of the late Edward G. Richards who passed away in 2006. Born in Lower Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late William J.B. and Violet G. (Cressman) Knappenberger.

She was a dedicated member and volunteer of St. Paul’s Lutheran Blue Church, Coopersburg.

She is survived by two daughters, Maureen and her husband Arthur Swanson, and Robin and her husband Paul Shumar, and his children, Erik and Amber; and a brother, Roger Knappenberger.

She was predeceased by an infant son, Edward; a sister, Madelyn Laub; and a brother, William Knappenberger.

There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Oct. 28 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Blue Church, 5305 Blue Church Road, Coopersburg, 18036. A visitation will be held 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the church.
