Bonita “Bonnie” B. Seko Schlabig, 67, of Catasauqua, died Oct. 7, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Gregory O. Schlabig and of the late Ronald Seko.
Born in Schnecksville, she was a daughter of Grace M. (Strohl) Balliet of Coplay and the late William F. Balliet, a former Whitehall Township fire chief.
She was a certified nursing assistant for Maximum Care, Home Instead Senior Care and Cedarbrook.
She was a member of the former Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay.
Earlier in life, she was active with the former Catasauqua Ambulance Corps for more than 18 years.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Brian Seko of Catasauqua; a sister, LuAnn P. and her husband Dale Donovan of Coplay; a brother, Bruce F. Balliet; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece; a nephew; and extended family.
