Liberty and Freedom high school students have organized a district-wide fundraiser to benefit the Houston Independent School District.

Bracelets with the message, “BASD Helps Heal Houston” will be available for sale beginning Sept. 11 at all BASD schools. For members of the general public, bracelets will be available at both high schools’ athletic offices during weekdays and for sale at football games at BASD Stadium starting Sept. 8.

All funds raised will be donated by the Freedom and Liberty student councils to the Houston Independent School District Foundation. Individuals or groups wishing to donate additional funds can make checks out to “Freedom HS Student Council” and note on the check the donation is for the Houston Independent School District Foundation.

Checks can be dropped at any BASD school or mailed to Freedom HS Student Council Hurricane Relief, c/o Mr. Joseph Stellato, 3149 Chester Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
