Rudolph G. Timar, 87, of Slatington, died Oct. 6, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Rosemarie (Klepeis) Timar for 60 years.

Born in Stockertown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Skrapits) Timar.

He was in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was the manager of New Farland Food Center for many years.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Whitehall.

He was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Hungarian Society, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Louis Timar; a sister, Theresa Zaboretzky; nieces; and nephews.
