Pauline M. (Wolf) Salter, 97, of Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton, and formerly of Fullerton, died Oct. 7, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Niel P. Salter.
Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Reimer) Wolf.
She was a 1937 graduate of Whitehall High School and graduated from the former Henry’s Academy of Beauty Culture, Allentown.
She was named Miss Whitehall in 1937.
She was the manager of Wolf Orchards, Fullerton, 1941-95. Previously, she was a beautician for the former Mattie Thompsons Beauty Salon, Allentown.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mickleys, Whitehall Township.
She is survived by a daughter, Gail M. and her husband Mark Toth of Lehigh Township; a son, Gary C. and his wife Joyce Salter of Allentown; five grandchildren, Julie, Janelle, Alex, Sara and Troy; and four great-grandchildren, Alana, Ava, Jackson and Benjamin.
She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Matthews; and two brothers, Joseph and Raymond.
