George “Rosie” Rupin- ski, 83, of Whitehall, died Sept. 29, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Frances A. (Grossbauer) Rupinski for 55 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Wenglasz) Rupinski.

He was a 1952 graduate of Northampton High School.

He worked in the roofing industry all his life and was a member of the Roofers Union Local 30.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Hungarian Hall and Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, both of Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Karen and her husband John Marchetto and Tina and her husband Thomas C. Nicklas; three grandchildren, Cortney and Anthony Marchetto and Callen Nicklas; and a sister, Helene Biggs.

He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard Rupinski.
