Coplay Public Library: Coplay library plans movie showings for children, adults
Join us for our free movie night Oct. 21. We will be showing “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” 11:30 a.m. for our littlest patrons. Our 1 p.m. feature will be “The Mummy” (PG-13) starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.
Everyone is welcome to attend!

Reminder: Storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be 11 a.m. Thursdays - Oct. 19 and 26 and Nov. 2. No preregistration is necessary, and all ages are welcome.

Our November basket social is just around the corner. Baskets will be on display at the library Nov. 4-18. Simply stop by the library to purchase tickets - you could be a lucky winner! The drawing will be held 4 p.m. Nov. 18, and any prize winner not in attendance will be called Nov. 20.
If you have items you would like to donate for a basket, drop them off at the library during open hours.

The library will be closed Nov. 7 for a staff development day.
Looking ahead, for the Thanksgiving holiday, we will close 5 p.m. Nov. 22 and be closed Nov. 23. We will reopen 10 a.m. Nov. 24.

We are partnering with Operation Gratitude for a letter-writing campaign to show support for our servicemen and women. Details are available at the library. If you have a serviceman or woman who would like letters, please let us know.
Also, if you have photos of someone who has served in the military or is currently serving, we would love to display them in the library for Veterans Day.

We will be having our final book sale of the year 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 17-18. Planning ahead for Christmas? You may be able to find some good gifts.
If you would like to donate any books or DVDs to our sale, drop those off during library hours.

Game night will be 5-7 p.m. Nov. 27. Our Scrabble experts could be tired from the long holiday weekend - this could be your chance to defeat them!

Visit us Monday through Saturday. Our hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. We have movies, magazines and DVDs you may check out, or you can use one of our computers. All you need is a library card.
