Francesca Elaine Kostalis, 79, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 8, 2017. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Gizella (Korpics) Fazio.
She worked for the former Western Electric for 30 years until she retired. She was then a crossing guard at Spring Garden and Linden streets for more than 15 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help R. C. Church where she was an usher, attended Bible study group gatherings and was a member of the seniors group.
She was a 35 year volunteer for Musikfest and an original volunteer for Zollner Arts Center.
She is survived by a son, Michael T. and his wife Diane of Palmer Township; two brothers, Jules Perschy and Pete Fazio; two sisters, Dorothy Perschy and Sandy Fazio; and two grandchildren, Michael J. and Amanda M. Kostalis.
She was predeceased by a brother, James; and a sister, Dolores.
