Do you have a musical instrument tucked away somewhere gathering dust?

Northwestern Lehigh’s Music Department is looking for donations of used band instruments.

The instrument could help a child who wants to join the band but whose family cannot afford the rental fees.

The Fall Fun Festival is quickly approaching.

The event will be on Oct. 27 throughout the school.

Partners in Education is looking for parents interested in helping at the event.

Parents, when you do your grocery shopping this week remember the week of Oct. 23-27 is NWE’s food drive.

Items may be sent in with your child to be place in wagons located in the rotunda.

Kindergarten students will be visiting Grim’s Farm Oct. 13.

All kindergarten students are to attend the morning session that day.

The library is having its first “Library Storybook Pumpkin Patch.”

Students are invited to choose their favorite book character and decorate a pumpkin with that character.

The pumpkin may be real or fake but it may not be carved.

Bring your child’s pumpkins with their entry form to the library Oct. 16-20.

All pumpkins must be picked up by the end of the day Oct. 27.

Winners will receive a gift certificate to the Fall Book Fair.

Don’t forget the Penny War is going on at the school until Oct. 31.

All proceeds from this event will be donated for assistance with Hurricane Relief.
