Jean LaRae (Sell) Herring, 77, of Moore Township, died Sept. 22, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Larry H. Herring for 42 years.

Born in Orefield, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Ursula G. (Kuhns) Sell.

She was a 1958 graduate of Allentown High School.

She was an assembler at Western Electric earlier in her life.

She was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Dale H. and his wife Alison (Hujsa); two grandsons, Dylan and Brett; two sisters, Doris Weaver and Joan and her husband Kenneth Shook; a brother, William A. and his wife June Sell; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Carlton; and a nephew, Dennis Weaver.
