Terence Karanink, 59, of Center Valley, died Sept. 14, 2017, while being cared for in his home by his family and Lehigh Valley Hospice. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of Hannah (Sullivan) Karanink of Center Valley and the late Carroll Karanink.

He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, N.J.

He was an electrical engineer for the former Bell Labs / Agere Systems, now Broad Com.

He was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

in addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Charles and his wife Kathy Karanink of Jim Thorpe; three sisters, Carol and her husband William Rooney of Harrington Park, N.J.; Victoria and her husband Luis Morales of Center Valley; and Kerry and her husband George Sitarus of Bogota, N.J.; and eight nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
