Joan E. Moyer, 80, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 14, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Esther L. (Cope) Lux.

She was the wife of John Moyer Jr. for 63 years. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Bethlehem west).

In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Karen E. Anderson of Mexico, John III and his wife Roxanne Moyer of Kutztown, Scott A. and his wife Josie Moyer of Morgantown; Valerie and her husband Mario Soto of Allentown, Leslie and her husband Michael Miller of Breinigsville and Collin M. and his wife Stephanie Moyer of Beaufort, S.C.; a sister, Jean; and 15 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Melanie Moyer.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
