Whitehall Township police officers responded to a report of a fight Sept. 25.

According to a news release from Police Chief Michael Marks, officers were dispatched approximately 6 p.m. to the rear of 22 Alta Drive in response to a fight in progress.

Police said four individuals sustained slash and stab wounds. Officers provided emergency medical care to help control the bleeding.

Two individuals were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions are reported to not be life threatening, Marks said.

The investigation is continuing to determine the circumstances surrounding the fight.
