Margaret M. “Peggy” Deutsch, 71, formerly of Alburtis, died Sept. 22, 2017, in her residence. She was the wife of Charles E. Deutsch. They were married for 48 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Quinn) Groark.
She worked for Rodale as an administrative assistant for 20 years before retiring.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Meredith M. and her husband Brian Rodgers, of Emmaus and Megan M. and her husband Tim Stauffer, of Topton; sister, Mary and her husband Ronald Teufel, of Waldorf, Md.; grandchildren, Mya, Natalie and Seamus; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings.
Contributions may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus, 18049.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Sept. 27 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
