Lacey Beth Herring, 20, of Emmaus, died Sept. 22, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a long battle with addiction. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Shannon Hutters-Herring, of Emmaus and Craig W. Herring, of Alburtis.

She was a 2015 graduate of Emmaus High School.

She was a member of Solomon’s U.C.C., Macungie.

She loved softball, the beach, hiking, being with family, laughing and goofing with friends, taking pictures, and eating pasta salad and hot wings.

She is survived by her mother; father; Craig and his wife Cindy; sister, Kailey Nicole, of Coplay; half brother, Matthew; half sister, Jessica; paternal grandmother, Ruby, of Macungie; maternal grandmother, Mary Hammond-Hutters, of Macungie; uncles, David Vincent Hutters, of Wescosville, Mick, and Terry and his wife Martha; aunt, Jen Farber; many cousins.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held noon to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
