David L. Bauder, 71, of Allentown, died Sept. 8, 2017, at home. He was the husband of Barbara P. (Vogel) Bauder for 46 years this past July. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Milton and Dorothy G. (Smith) Bauder.

He was an enrolled agent/accountant in the Lehigh Valley for over 50 years, retiring this year.

He loved to play tennis, walk his dog Maggie, and enjoyed trips to Sanibel Island and Key West.

He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife; son, Matthew D. and partner Christina, of Emmaus. He was predeceased by a son, David Jr.
