Rosemarie L. Carpency, 83, of Bethlehem, died Sept.16, 2017. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Valeria (Vitek) Carpency.

She was employed by Muhlenberg Hospital for 17 years and then at Holy Family Manor for 20 years until she took retirement.

She was a member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor and her husband Robert Woytusik and Suzanne and her husband Charles Majczan; two generations of nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Gail Carpency.

She was predeceased by a sister, Valerie, wife of the late Jack Clark; and a brother, Joseph Carpency.
