Harold R. Kline, dairy salesman

Harold R. Kline, 98, of Allentown, died Sept. 21, 2017, at Westminster Village. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clinton M. and Elsie E. (Lynn) Kline. He was the husband of the late Ethel F. (Lohrman) Kline for 57 years.

He was a corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He was a route salesman for Freeman’s Dairy for 10 years and later was a layout operator for Western Electric.

He was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, Bethlehem. He was a former member of Trinity Memorial Church, Allentown, where he was captain of the ushering team and was on the council for three years.

He was a member and a past president of the Telephone Pioneers.for over 3 years. While residing at the Phoebe Apartments, he was a council president.

He is survived by a son, Michael S. and his wife MariAnn of Allentown; a daughter, Sandra M. widow of the late Richard Barron of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Lisa Guerrera, Jennifer Eddinger and Michael S. Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Richard Davis, Alex Eddinger and Gabrielle Guerrera; and a great-great granddaughter, Emma Featherman.

He was predeceased by a brother, Clifford; and a sister, Betty.

Contributions many be made to Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, 3100 Hecktown Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020.
