Timothy H. Knecht, 69, of Emmaus, died Sept. 3, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Maria V. (Moller) Knecht. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry C. and Edna (Eschbach) Knecht.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.

He is survived by his wife; children, Matthew and Jennifer.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
