Whitehall hosted a cross country meet at the Whitehall Parkway 5K course on Tuesday afternoon.

The Zephyr girls came away with three wins on the day while the boys won one meet.

The girls beat Pleasant Valley, Pocono Mountain East and Pocono Mountain West by identical scores of 15-46.

Emmaus’ Abi Dalton won the race with a time of 21:06 and teammate Keira Reinhard was second almost a full minute back with a time of 22:18. Whitehall’s Juanita Flores was the third overall girl to cross coming in with a time of 22:23. The Zephs had four other girls finish in the top-15: Autumn Dragovits took sixth in 23:37, Rachel Herr was ninth in 24:07, Lindsay Solderitch was 12th in 24:34 and Devon Roberts was 14th in 24:37.

For the boys, Pleasant Valley’s Ryan Murphy took first overall with a time of 18:05. Jake Brown of Emmaus was second in 18:28. Whitehall’s Caleb Staub was the only Zeph in the top-15. He took eighth with a time of 19:12.

The Whitehall boys beat Pocono Mountain West by a score of 15-49.
