Dorothy M. Miller

Dorothy M. Miller, 102, of Boylston, Mass., and formerly of Catasauqua, died Sept. 16, 2017, at home. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Woodring Sr. and the late Pastor Philip C. Miller.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. and Rachel (McNabb) Manley.

She was the longest living baptized member of Catasauqua Presbyterian Church where she was a deacon, an elder and a Sunday school teacher. She was in the choir for 80 years and sang her last church solo at the age of 101.

She was a secretary at Fuller Company, Catasauqua, for many years before retiring.

She is survived by a son, Paul S. Jr. and his wife Connie; a daughter, Marcia Jane and her husband Albert McQuiston; a stepson, David and his wife Pam Miller; two stepdaughters, LeeAnn Miller and Margaret and her husband Edward Weinhofer; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers; a sister; a stepson, Phillip Miller; and a great-grandson, Benjamin Woodring.

A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., both Sept. 22 at the church, 210 Pine St., Catasauqua, 18032.
