The Salisbury Athletic Department will collect items at the football game Sept. 15 to ship to families in need due to the hurricanes in Texas and Florida. Just a few items on the list include clothes of all sizes, pet food, gift cards to restaurants, diapers, bedding and Home Depot gift cards. Any monetary donations will be used to buy Home Depot gift cards. Come out, enjoy the game and be a blessing to those in the path of those terrible storms.
Also at the Sept. 15 football game, the high school Key Club and Salisbury Youth Association are co-sponsoring a fundraiser for a Salisbury family fighting cancer.
