Mitzi Ann Hamm, 47, of Lower Macungie Township, died Sept. 4, 2017, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., she was the daughter of JoAnna (Staly) Matey, of Lower Saucon Township and the late Verlon G. Ryals Sr.

She worked as an administrative assistant for the Lower Macungie Township Parks and Recreation and previously for 17 years for Progressive Insurance.

She is survived by her mother; children, Jessica Rae, of Swiftwater, Derek Allen, of Allentown, Zachary Joseph Dengler, at home; siblings, Verlon G. Ryals Jr. (Karen) of Dublin, Ga., JoAnna L. Graham (Thomas), of Eastman, Ga. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Robert K. Matey.
